About Me

I’m Yehya, and I’m a junior in high school. I live in Connecticut, but I’m the only one in my family who was born here. My parents and brothers immigrated to the States from Egypt, but despite that, I’ve always been worried that I’m not in touch with the world around me.

 

The desire to change that is the primary reason I was drawn to the Global Studies Program, although I also hope I can incorporate my interest in linguistics. It’s something I’ve been interested in for a long time, but it really started to pick up when I started noticing connections between Spanish and Arabic, two other languages I speak.
